We continue to monitor our guests' comments and contemplate ways to improve their experience at Lone Mountain Marina and Campground. Sadly, the biggest complaint we continue to receive is about the BEHAVIOR OF OTHER guests. Please remember “young eyes and ears” are watching and listening. Many guests have heralded the policy modifications and we have seen guest behavior, and thus guest experiences, improve. We value your feedback and hope you have a great experience.
- All visitors must register at the Main Office before entering the campground.
- Absolutely no boats or trailers are to be left at campsites, unless you have written permission from management.
- All pets must keep them on a leash when outside. Pet excrement must be removed promptly and properly disposed of by the pet owner. If you don't pick up after your pet, it will not be allowed on the premises. Unruly pets will not be allowed on the premises. YOU are responsible for your animals actions. Pet waste is more than gross - it is detrimental to our environment and humans. Pet pollution is carried by storm water runoff that contributes to high bacteria levels in our waterways after it rains. There are a lot of good pet parents out there who do the right thing, and we appreciate it! We had to alter our tactics to get the attention of those who refuse to clean up after their pets.
- No person shall tether, fasten, chain, tie, or restrain a dog to any dog house, tree, fence, or other stationary object.
- No outdoor cats are permitted as pets.
- No Exotic pets are permitted on the premises. This includes but is not limited to lions, tigers, kangaroos, alligators, elephants, dolphins, dinosaurs, and camels.
- Campfires are permitted on campsites, conditions permitting (i.e. wind, fog, drought), and must be contained in a ring or elevated fire pit. Guests must stay with the fire until it is completely out. All debris must be cleaned up afterward. Please burn wood only. No burning of plastics, glass, cans, metal, etc.
- No loud music or noise anytime day or night. Quiet time is 11:59 P.M. till 9:00 A.M.
- No fighting or arguing with other guests. If there is a problem tell someone at the office, if the police have to be called, you are to move out immediately and there will be no refunds.
- No construction of any kind is permitted without written permission from the office manager and/or TVA
- A 5 mph speed limit is in place in the campground. We need to protect our children.
- All campers are required to turn off their water and roll up their water hoses when not in use. Also, put up your electric line. The safest thing would be to bury your water and electric lines. Lone Mountain Marina and campground will not be responsible for hose or electric line damage from grass mowing and weed eating.
- Anyone who leaves the water on when they leave and the hose bursts and leaks will be charged a $125.00 fee for water use and service charge.
- All campsites are to be kept clean at all times.
- Pertaining to anyone on the A side of the campground - Absolutely no one is allowed to permanently reside in their campers. This is a TVA rule. The grounds close for 14 days each year per TVA.

- One camping unit per site (a small 2-person tent for children is allowed).
- All garbage must be wrapped and placed in garbage bags and placed in our dumpsters. Trash receptacles are also placed throughout the marina and campground. Household cooking grease must be disposed of as garbage and not poured down drains. Disposal of hazardous waste, oil, fuel, etc. within the grounds or in disposal containers provided by the campground is strictly prohibited. All persons needing to dispose of said materials must contact the necessary governmental authorities and make all necessary arrangements to dispose of them.
